North Reading Senior Echoes
sang at the Open House, Saturday, January 30,
as part of North Reading Reads 2010.

Writing Flash Fiction, Tuesday, September 22.

Highlights From Previous Years

Hallie Ephron visited the library June to talk about her new thriller,
Never Tell a Lie, which many members of the audience had
read and enjoyed.

Keith Michael Johnson brought his fascinating
program, "The Secret World of Bubbles" to the
Friends Annual Meeting in June 1, 2009.


Kevin Gardner, author of The Granite Kiss,
Traditions and Techniques of Building
New England
Stone Walls, visited the library
May 7, and built a wall with small stones,
while he spoke spoke about the fascinating
history of stone walls.


Nancy Bailey Miller chatted with a friend,
after
reading from her new book of
poems,
Risking Rallentando, in April, National
Poetry Month.

Many people attended "Let's Talk Digital," the digital
photography workshop presented by Al Pereira in April.

Noted genealogist, Marcia Melnyk, spoke to
a full house of attentive listeners in early April, 2009.


Mary Prenney, Director of the

residents to share their experiences
about living through World War II, as part of
North Reading Reads 2009.

Veneziano enthralled his audience, both young

had perfect weather for the "Walk in the North Reading Woods,"
Saturday, April 26, led by Janet Nicosia.


People
had a lot to talk about after Les Norford's presentation
on "green" buildings, as part of North Reading Reads2008.

Rogers spoke about climate change and how North Reading citizens can

Luckily for the North Reading community, Henry Fonda and the
Falsettos returned on January 4, 2008 to start off the New Year.
